Explaining the role of knowledge-based companies in industrial development and the support by the Vice Presidency of Science
Specialized and collaborative meetings focusing on the role of knowledge-based companies in the innovative development of the petrochemical industry, explaining the support of the Vice Presidency of Science, and discussing the capacities of the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Law were held in the presence of the Vice President of Science and the Vice Presidency's managers at the second Iran Petrochem Conference and Exhibition.
According to the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, the Iran Petrochem 2025 Conference hosted 6 specialized panels on Sunday, January 13, in the presence of Vice Presidency managers, petrochemical industry activists, and knowledge-based companies.
The specialized meeting "Investigating the Capacities of the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Law, Opportunities and Strategies for Developing Industry-University Cooperation" examined topics such as the capacities and axes of the Knowledge-Based Production Leap Law, research and development opportunities using tax credits, cooperation between the Ministry of Science and the Scientific Vice-Ministerial Office to support industry-university relations for innovation, research and development, and...
Also, in the meeting on "Policymaking in the Field of Energy and Development of Renewable Energy with the Approach of Eliminating Imbalance and Attracting Capital", with the presence of Hossein Afshin, Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Omid Shakeri, Deputy Minister of Oil for Engineering, Research and Technology Affairs, Bahrami, Vice Chairman of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and a group of managers of petrochemical industries, academics, and knowledge-based companies, they discussed and exchanged views on solutions to eliminate energy imbalance, identifying renewable energy capacities, access to modern technologies in the field of new energies, the necessity of diversifying the country's energy production portfolio, reducing flaring and attracting capital in this field. This meeting is considered an important step towards drawing a clear vision for the future of Iran's energy and moving towards a clean and sustainable economy.
It is worth mentioning that the second "Iran Petrochem" exhibition with the slogan "Supporting Knowledge-Based Production" has started on Saturday, January 12th, and is being held throughout the day with the presence of more than 140 petrochemical companies and domestic companies, 80 knowledge-based and technological companies in the petrochemical sector from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Kish Island International Exhibition Center.
The Iran Petrochem 2025 event, with the aim of supporting domestic production and maximizing the potential of knowledge-based and technological companies, was held in line with the completion of the Petrofen event and the implementation of the needs assessments carried out by knowledge-based companies in the country's petrochemical industry, centered on the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.
