According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the eighth national conference of child and adolescent psychiatry is initiated on November 27^th 2017 in Imam Khomeini Hospital of Tehran with the support of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter. The major goal of this conference is transfer of scientific data of the experts and evaluation of neurological and evolutionary disorders of a group of experts of psychiatric diseases.

In addition, the conference has an emphasis on assessment of neurological and evolutionary disorders in children and adolescents. During the three days of the event, psychiatric specialists will evaluate neurological disorders in children and adolescents by exchanging information and achievements.

According to this report, speech therapists, linguists, neurologists and psychiatric specialists for children and adolescents will talk about their research achievements and advancements made in child and adolescent psychiatry and screening policies for neurodegenerative and developmental disorders. The third day of the event is allocated to the assessment of autism disorder, where psychologists of children and adolescents will express their experiences and knowledge about treatment and prevention of the disease and relevant neurological disorders.

During this three-day conference, several pharmaceutical companies will showcase their latest products required to treat and prevent neurological disorders in children and adolescents.

The eighth national conference of child and adolescent psychiatry is held on November 28^th-29^th, 2017 in Imam Khomeini Hospital of Tehran by child and adolescent psychiatric society.
