One of the priorities of the biotechnology development headquarter is modification of transfer of technologies to the areas of dune production. Various plans have been defined to implement this project.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, with regard to the report by the biotechnology development headquarter, operationalization of infrastructure for production of shrimp pools and Artmia in an area of seven hectares is being finished in the form of cooperation with the headquarter, biotechnology development fund, Nasr Jihad Institute, organization of agricultural research, education and promotion and salt national research center of the country.

It is also expressed in this report that seedlings are created according to the climate and saltiness of water in critical areas, in which dunes are created, to transfer technology to these areas.

With the start of the operation of “transfer of water to the center of dune production”, leveling and leaching in the form of implementation of a trial of sustainable agriculture in salty environments” and “dewatering pools and planting a variety of plants, such as Kochia, Panicum, Quinoa (plant caviar), Salicornia (green salt), Tamarix and eucalyptus” will create fundamental changes in the transfer of different types of technologies and continued development of these technologies in dune production areas and harvesting locations.
