According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first round of international education of 3D printing will be held by Zamstec institute of Austria and with the support of advanced manufacturing and materials development headquarter. Given the successful performance of the first round, the second round of this event will be held this January.

In the first round, 40 activists in the area of incremental printing from the section of industry freely attended the event, where the introductory level of 3D printing was presented containing one and two units. In addition, theory and practical classes were simultaneously held in the first round, where the participants learned about the principles of FDM and DLP devices.

According to this report, each participant is allowed to use the available facilities and devices in the practical workshop of the institute free of charge but with limitations until the time of the final exam to increase their abilities.  

The Zamstec Institute of Austria is the first organization which has registered the provision of the international license of 13DL and has held these courses in more than 20 countries up until now. Iran is the first country that will hold these courses in Asia and Middle East.

With regard to the positive results and feedback of attendees, the second round of education will be provided for the enthusiasts of this field from December 23^rd 2017. In the second round, the introductory level will be held for new participants and higher levels will be carried out for participants of the first round.

The first specialized workshops on education of 3D printing in Iran will be held by the incremental manufacturing institute of university of industry and science.
