According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the cognitive technologies and sciences development headquarter has aimed to perform support projects and investments by creating sabbaticals for professors and students so that the foundation is laid for promotion and improvement of cognitive sciences areas in scientific and academic centers. In addition, these processes are carried out to take fundamental steps toward education of human resources required in the cognitive science fields. In this regard, a 64-canal electroencephalogram (recording brain electrical activities) is provided for cognitive laboratory of Islamic art university of Tabriz to promote cognitive sciences and supply the required equipment of this scientific-educational unit.

Kharazmi University has recently received a 64-canal electroencephalogram (recording brain electrical activities) with the support of the headquarter to provide sabbaticals for students and researchers of this field. The cognitive sciences headquarter has aimed to encourage and persuade researchers and experts to achieve self-efficacy and localize the equipment in the field of cognitive sciences and expand cognitive sciences in scientific and academic centers.

According to the planning of the headquarter, it is aimed to provide two other electroencephalograms for laboratory of university of Isfahan and a hospital center in Tehran. Assisting the improvement of national security with the application of cognitive sciences and technologies in the national and international fields is one of the serious priorities of the headquarter, support of which has led to the equipping and providing the condition for performing many research projects in the country.
