Chairman of Iran national space administration stated: currently, Iran has the ability to provide airplane maintenance and repair services for regional countries

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, stated about the significant progress of Iran in the area of airplane maintenance and repair after the Islamic revolution, expressing: one of the successes of Iran after the revolution was in the area of maintenance and repair of different types of military airplanes, helicopters and various types of commercial airplanes.

He continued: today, we can claim that we rely on ourselves and have the ability to present different services to regional countries.

According to Manteghi, large scientific and technical steps have been taken to eliminate problems and supply the needs of aerospace industry and the country and avionic systems.

Manteghi also affirmed: localization of avionic systems based on the modern standards of this area in the world and creating a proper supply chain of avionic pieces and subsystems are followed up in the avionic working group of Iran national space administration.
