According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and the assembly of knowledge-based organizations of the chamber of commerce, industry, mines and agriculture of Iran to use the capacities of the private sector in order to develop knowledge-based products and services in line with the realization of goals of economy of resistance.

Some of the main topics of this agreement are cooperation in establishing “an innovation center for the chamber of commerce, industries, mines and agriculture of Iran”, cooperation to establish and empower the crowdfunding system in the chamber of commerce, industries, mines and agriculture of Iran, cooperation in establishment and development of venture capitals and cooperation in attracting investors for knowledge-based projects of the chamber of commerce, industries, mines and agriculture of Iran.

According to the articles of this agreement, the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs has aimed to spiritually and technically support the design and implementation of topics of the agreement and inform and stimulate activists in the knowledge-based area to enter the topics of the agreement by using the created capacities.

In addition, the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs will introduce startups in the technology areas related to entrepreneurship and new and knowledge-based businesses to the chamber of commerce, industries, mines and agriculture of Iran.

Other duties of the Vice-Presidency defined in this agreement include facilitation of achieving knowledge-based license by companies of innovation centers and accelerators and updating the projects and ideas with commercialization ability for use of investors, specially venture capitals, through www.vc.isti.ir.

Furthermore, the assembly must establish the “innovation center of the chamber of commerce, industries, mines and agriculture of Iran” and establish venture capitals with topics related to the area of activities of the assembly.

In this regard, the assembly is responsible for establishing and empowering the crowdfunding system in the chamber of commerce, industries, mines and agriculture of Iran and issue business cards for knowledge-based companies, enabling them to be a member of the chamber of commerce.

Some of the other duties defined for the assembly in the agreement include introducing knowledge-based companies to be present in international delegations and identifying knowledge-based projects and companies in the system of www.vc.isti.ir to attract investment.
