Arefian, manager of the workshops of the third national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine, which will be held with the support of stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter, regarded these workshops a step toward empowering the researchers of the field.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Ehsan Arefian, manager of the workshops of the third national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine, stated: in order to empower and increase the educational and operational abilities of students and researchers in the field of stem cells and regenerative medicine, some workshops will be held similar to the previous rounds of the event to improve the potentials and capabilities of researchers.

Arefian pointed out the centers in which the workshops will be held, expressing: Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Royan Research Center, Stem Cell Technology Research Center, and National Institute of Genetics will hold these workshops.

He also asserted: we demand the centers, universities and research centers to send their proposals on holding the workshops. After the evaluation of workshops and based on the level of satisfaction of participants with the previous round, we will decide about the titles of the workshops and how they will be executed on the website of the festival.

According to Arefian, these workshops will be held May 24^th-29^th, 2018 after holding the third congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine.

The third national festival and international congress of stem cells and regenerative medicine will be held November 24^th-December 1^st, 2018 in Iran International Conference Center by the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter.
