The vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy announced the granting of tax credit and support to technology companies located in the pharmaceutical innovation factory.
According to the report of the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Ruhollah Dehghani in the ceremony of opening and operating the country's first pharmaceutical innovation factory, which took place during his trip to East Azarbaijan province and in the presence of Sardar Abedin Khorram, the governor of this province. Referring to the support of technology companies active in the field of employment and marketing of pharmaceutical and medical products, said: "A valuable effort has been made to make a building that was not being used well be used in the best way and be productive." This movement is a valuable and big step that we will definitely support.
He called the production and use of less used capacities and infrastructures as one of the supporting priorities of the Vice Presidency of Science and added: This innovation factory can be a platform for the development of efficient and useful products in the field of medicine and a factory for the production of innovative products. Iran should be introduced and raised in international dimensions, especially in power-creating fields such as medicine, treatment and health.
He added: This innovation factory is a valuable initiative that can lead to the creation of valuable developments with the link between the innovations of the pharmaceutical industry, the creativity of young manpower and the high capacity of Tabriz's industry and machinery.
The head of the National Elites Foundation stated: Following this visit and the demands of the companies located in this innovation factory, the necessary support will be provided according to the activity and size of the companies as well as the pharmaceutical innovation factory so that while creating employment and creating added value. The innovation factory should become a platform for the formation and commercialization of pharmaceutical innovations.
Referring to the support for the research and development of pharmaceutical technology companies in the form of tax credit, the vice president of science and technology said: "There will be great support for large and powerful pharmaceutical companies in Tabriz in the form of tax credits that will help the expansion of research and development." It will help the development in their field and thus the progress of the companies.
It should be mentioned that the pharmaceutical innovation factory in an area of 4,500 square meters at the site of one unused drug production factories in Tabriz has been put into operation with the support of Health Science and Technology Park of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences and the participation of four large pharmaceutical technology companies. In this innovation factory, technological and problem-oriented cores are formed around elite university students and solve industrial problems under the guidance of professors and specialists.
The answer to the needs is provided in the form of a proposal by the innovative cores, and the implementation of these plans is followed up in a process of 9 months and turns into a medicinal product.
