The operation of the project of “Catalyst Production Unit” BZNs started in Polymer Complex of Kermanshah in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs.

This morning, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs was welcomed by the governor of Kermanshah upon entering the province. The inauguration of several technological projects, such as the Innovation Complex with applications in the field of biology, is part of the plans of this one-day trip.

The foundation is laid for joint scientific and technological cooperation between Iran and Russia, especially in the field of advanced pharmaceutical technologies, during an online meeting between Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, and Alexander Sergeyev, president of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The vice president for science and technology affairs was welcomed by the governor of East Azerbaijan. This trip has had great achievements for the country. The mass production line of sealed-tube CO2 lasers will be inaugurated during this trip to register the name of Iran as the third country with the production technology of this product.

In the first part of his trip to East Azerbaijan, the vice president for science and technology affairs unveiled an Iranian-made product made by a knowledge-based in Tabriz to boost the innovation and technology ecosystem.

During the meeting of knowledge-based economy and production leap of East Azerbaijan Province, Sattari mentioned that culture plays an important role in development, adding: efforts should be made to direct academic and research centers’ thinking toward the importance of humans. An empowered human being who is the source of effect with the power of his thinking. This transformation in the knowledge-based economy has been created with new thinking.

During the trip of Sattari to East Azerbaijan, he visited the advanced technologies industrial town and opened the first production line of sealed-tube 500-W CO2 lasers.

Congratulating the professors and students throughout the country on the beginning of their academic activities, the President emphasised that the university has an important role in creating hope and building trust in the society, and we must work together to strengthen national trust and hope for the future.

Azadi Innovation Factory hosted Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, Anoushiravan Mohseni-Bandpei, governor, and Pirooz Hanachi, the mayor of Tehran, to hold the first technology and innovation forum of Tehran.

A one-day visit of innovation and technological circles of Tehran was made by the vice president for science and technology affairs and Mohsen Hashemi, chairman of City Council of Tehran.
