The convergent technologies center of the Vice-Presidency supports new teams of bio data to develop their business and products.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, an agreement was signed between the convergent technologies strategic center, the biotechnology development headquarter, and development cooperation center. The basis of the agreement is supporting the development of businesses based on bio data. Therefore, a call is published to accelerate the pace of activities.

This year, a call was published on May 22^nd, 2019 to support bio data businesses, and activists of this area were supposed to send their projects for assessment until July 22^nd, 2019. This call emphasized the new generation of sequencing data and microarrays.

Researchers and companies active in the field came out after the call was published and submitted their proposals, and finally, after evaluation and judging, 10 projects were selected for the in-person phase. After this stage, the startups" elite plans are supported by a variety of assistance, such as training courses and material support to commercialize their product so that their business can continue to grow. Therefore, startups learn their product development and business prosperity in this program.

According to the report, the bio data is a set of macro data with several uses. Given the new nature of these businesses, supporting their formation in the country is of paramount importance.
