Head of the strategic technologies development headquarter stated: domestic knowledge-based companies and startups have facilitated the conditions of entering innovation in the society.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Esmaeil Ghaderifar, head of the strategic technologies development headquarter, expressed about the number of active Iranian startups: currently, there are more than 6200 Iranian startups in the innovation and technology ecosystem.

He continued: these startups play a great role in economic and social development of the country, and a large part of future of economy of Iran depends on the development of activity of these startups.

According to Ghaderifar, increased number of active startups in the country is indicative of increased pace of innovative and technological movements in the country and higher tendency of the youth to the ecosystem.

He also asserted: special attention must be paid to this generation of businessmen since the future of economy of the country depends on the development of activities of this innovative generation.
