The advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs expressed: the continuation of the path of martyr Soleimani is jihad and more efforts to reach the single-digit peaks of science in all areas.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Parviz Karami, the advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs, expressed his condolences for martyrdom of General Soleimani in an interview with Mehr News Agency, affirming: people like General Soleimani made extensive efforts and killed ISIS and arrogance outside the borders of Iran so that people could continue their activities with peace.

He added: If the Islamic Iran is at the peak of science and technology and scientific dignity in the world, it is because of the efforts of people such as martyr Soleimani and his companions in Armed Forces, Security Forces, Police Forces.

Karami reminded: if we reached the 15^th global rank in science and technology from 52^nd rank in 2000,it is because of a safe and calm environment in the country. This position would not have been possible if our country was like Iraq and Syria, God forbid.

He marked: in my opinion, we can continue the path of martyr Soleimani by making more efforts in reaching the single-digit peaks of science in other scientific areas.

According to Karami, if men of scientific authority want to take hard revenge, their hardest revenge is greater scientific progress. Conquering the peaks of science and technology and giving it to leading talented and creative young people is a tough revenge.

He affirmed: advancing of universities in science and technology is a great response to these acts.

Karami added: the measures produced in the field of defense, UAVs, missiles, defense industries and innovative weapons to defend the country are the result of work of our scientists and their continuation can be a hard revenge.
