Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, visited the International Institute of Seismology and advanced earthquake engineering laboratories.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sattari visited the International Institute of Seismology and advanced earthquake engineering laboratories this morning.
During the visit, he emphasized the necessity of using the capacities of these labs to develop and increase the ability of knowledge-based companies and lay the foundation for boosting cooperation and supporting the establishment of technological units and providing services to innovation ecosystem activists.
The lab encompasses floor & wall reaction laboratories & shaking desk laboratory & related prototyping & supporting spaces in 3700 sq.
The labs of the international institute of seismology work in fields of earthquake engineering, structural and soil engineering. The lab provides equipment for the country"s infrastructure such as the petroleum, petrochemical, utilities and many other industries.
