The technology grant competition for the doctoral dissertation was held
The technology grant competition for the doctoral dissertation in the field of photonics, construction and materials engineering was held. The event was carried out to provide grants to the selected dissertations. The maximum use of the scientific capacities inside the country was among the goals of the competition.
Encouraging and guiding doctoral dissertations related to the laser fields with the support of the photonics, advanced materials and construction technologies development headquarter have been carried out to meet the needs of domestic industries and develop wealth-creating production.
In this regard, various dissertations will be received different universities of the country, such as Isfahan, Tabriz, Islamic Azad University (Najafabad branch), Tehran, Tarbiat Modares, Iran, agricultural sciences of Gorgan, Sharif University and Kashan universities until the end of the call deadline.
The dissertations were evaluated according to the general and mandatory criteria, as well as the important points raised in the competition conditions, and the initial screening was performed.
After announcing the results and reasons for accepting and not accepting this stage to all applicants, additional documents were received from the dissertations that made it to the final stage for evaluation and review.
In total, eight dissertations by the faculty of different universities, including Iran, Sharif, Mohaghegh Ardebili, Tarbiat Modares, Islamic Azad University (Najafabad branch) and Shahid Beheshti were selected.
Meanwhile, the selected dissertations related to the materials engineering and construction department of this competition participated in various axes of technology development in the supply chain and value of medical materials and equipment, development of manufacturing and production processes and technology development in the supply chain and value of ceramic tiles. In the photonics section, the focus of the selected dissertations has been on the development of industrial photonics and metering systems and the development of technology in the supply chain and the value of medical materials and equipment.
