The first event of technology development in the field of electricity will be held
The first event of technology development in the field of electricity will be held with the cooperation of the Vice-Presidency and the ministry of energy. One of the main topics of the event is demand response.
The event of “technology development in electricity industry” will be held with the goal of responding to the technological needs of the electricity industry of the country using the abilities and capacities of knowledge-based companies.
Establishing business partnerships between these companies and large industrial complexes in the field of electricity is another key objective of the event.
Demand Management
This two-day gathering will be held February 24th-25th, 2020 at the location of Iran national innovation fund to introduce a part of the needs of the electricity industry of the country in the fields of production, transmission and distribution.
In addition, companies and technologists who make the best proposals and present technological solutions to issues of the event will have the opportunity to commercially cooperate with the companies affiliated to the ministry of energy.
Another important topic of the event is demand response (demand and load management at peak hours). Demand response is a set of measures to change the pattern of power consumption to improve network reliability and prevent price jumps, especially during peak hours.
Operational Idea
The audience of the field are knowledge-based companies of electricity industry such as individuals, academics, experts and even companies active in non-related areas (especially large audience companies, such as web platforms), which allow to submit any operational ideas for managing electricity consumption during peak hours. According to the agreement between the Vice-Presidency and ministry of energy, ideas and suggestions in this regard will be collected during the specified post-event period and if applicable before summer 2020.
