The second Iranian brain-computer interface (BCI) will be held by the national brain-mapping laboratory 

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the national brain-mapping laboratory will hold the second iBCIC competition with an emphasis on the application of brain signals (electroencephalography) in rehabilitation of disabled individuals. This competition will be held at the national level and two in-person and virtual stages in the form of groups consisting of professors, researchers and students.

Participants must register for the event as two-five-member groups. In addition, the enthusiasts can answer the questions and send the results through the website of the national brain-mapping laboratory after receiving the questions until September 6^th 2018. At the end of the first stage, the delivered results will be evaluated by a number of prominent professors of top universities of the country and the winners will be invited to the final stage, which will be held October 2018.

At the end, the three top groups of the second symposium of new areas in brain-mapping field of Iran will receive rewards on October 10^th-11^th, 2018.

The national brain-mapping laboratory has been established to respond to a part of research and technology needs of the country in the area of creating the infrastructure for imaging and brain simulation for cognitive studies and presenting knowledge-based services in area of cognitive sciences and technologies and brain-mapping with the help of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.
