According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, various issues are designed to be considered in the third national conference of water management in farm based on the current needs of the country, major challenges of the implementation section and research shortages.

In this regard, water and soil research institute has aimed to hold meetings and educational workshops with regard to the important role of these elements in water management in farm.

The third national conference of water management in farm will be held to be recognized with the achievements of researchers in the area of research, education and implementation of water management in farm, urging the need for research in the researchers in the field of agriculture on the foundations of development, and creating association between active scientific, research and executive sections in the field of water management in farm.

The main topics of the conference include watering planning in condition of low water, efficiency of water use in agriculture, management of salt and excessive water in farm, evaluation of watering systems in farm, effect of soil properties, land suitability and crop pattern on water management in farm, application of new sciences and techniques in improving water management in the field, role of exploitation systems, education and promotion of water management in farm, economic, social, political, environmental, moral and legal factors that affect water management in farm, the effect of local irrigation on sustainable operation of soil, and climate change and its impact on water management in farm.

The third national conference of water management in farm (demand for water) will be held February 26^th 2018 in Karaj with the cooperation of water, drought, erosion and environment development headquarter.
