Hormozgan University held the national sea biotechnology conference during February 18^th-19^th, 2018 with the support of marine knowledge-based industries and technologies development headquarter and cooperation of Persian Gulf biotechnology park of Qeshm.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, some of the topics of this conference were medical and pharmaceutical marine biophysics, marine micro-organisms, marine plants and animals, industry and environment, fisheries and aquaculture, marine nanoscience and genetic engineering of aquaculture and entrepreneurship in biotechnology.

According to this report, the national sea biotechnology conference received more than 170 articles. In addition, three educational workshops were held in this two-day conference, followed by awarding three elite students of Hormozgan with top ranks in the Kharazmi festival.

In addition, visit of the Persian Gulf researcher and enterprise of ISUAIKO Shipping were among the side programs of the event.

It should be mentioned the conference was initiated at 8:00 in February 18^th 2018 in the presence of the country and provincial audience in Hormozgan University. In addition, the conference was ended on February 20^th 2018.
