The final stage of the sixth round of CanSat competition of Iran was held in Aflakasia Airport of Ivanaki city, attended by teams selected from various centers and universities of the country.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, this round of the competition was held similar to the previous round in two classes of computational-scientific and scientific-exploratory by the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and monitoring of the national space administration.

The present teams in the final stage had passed several assessment methods and have been selected from 36 teams, who showcased the achievement of activities for eight months to design and produce cansats.

For the second consecutive round of CanSat release by multipurpose drone and with increased height by two times, the technology of releasing CanSats was carried out using vertical drones. One of the important notes of this stage of competition is flight operation by light and jadeoplane during the competition.

In addition, the closing ceremony of the competition will be soon held after determining the top teams.
