The fifth issue of lasers and photonics technologies is published
The fifth issue of lasers and photonics technologies is published this February with the cooperation of the lasers, photonics and micron structures technologies development headquarter.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the lasers, photonics and micron structures technologies development headquarter published the fifth issue of lasers technologies with the cooperation of the knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter. This issue contains five sections and is published in 84 pages.
According to this report, a note is presented in the first section of the issue on the fact that science could shed light on the path of life. The second section included speeches by Khanzadeh, head of the school of basic sciences of Vali-E-Asr University of Rafsanjan, on research and educational activities in the area of optics and photonics, students of different educational levels, scientific events in school of physics in this area, challenges and barriers of this field, position of Iran in this area, and wealth creation.
Mansour Esfandiari Bayat, executive manager of the national research technology project for laser leveling of agricultural land, explained about the formation of this idea and its benefits and applications for farmers.
The third section included a report on the 11th congress on lasers in medicine of Iran and new laser ideas, which is presented with the title of “neuroscience is brighter with light”. In addition, a report on the second optogenetics workshop, which was held in Shahid Beheshti University, is presented, which is introduced as a new field with a promising future in the medical laser field.
The second section included vision, return to beauty with golden wavelength and introduction of dyed lasers for treatment of skin diseases. In addition, laser and extravagant colors, and Eli dyes and multi- multi-photorflow fluorescents that are used in biological imaging are expressed.
New generation of wireless optical communications or replacement of Wi-Fi cables with Li-Fi cables in establishment centers or industrial applications are discussed in the third section, where gravitational waves are evaluated with laser interferometer, which is one of the most exciting results of Einstein"s general theory of relativity.
The fifth section includes “knowledge to wealth”, where the company of “Fath Nour Mihan” is introduced as one of the active companies in the area of lasers and photonics. Moreover, one of the successful companies in the area of lasers and photonics with the name of “Hamamateso” as the unknown elite for knowledge and technology scholars has been discussed in this issue.
Laser news have been presented in the sixth section of this issue, where the large event of west photonics, which is annually held in San Francisco in one conference section or two workshop and exhibition sections, is introduced.
In addition, finding a new light, which is a modern form of light for research and fundamental applications, is presented in this section.
The seven section included the pioneers of this area, such as Leon Goldman, who is one of the pioneers of this science. His activities and achievements are introduced, and laser creation after primary studies and preliminary theories is pointed out.
The eighth section included a book introduction for the book of “applications of formation of laser beam”, which is used in various areas. In addition, the Lumerical software is an accurate and safe tool for simulation environments and showing the structure in various directions.
The final section of this special issue is allocated to the technology school and light fraction, where some explanations are provided on cause of light fracture, wave speed fluctuations, bending value, lenses and refractive index of light.
