The Syrian and Lebanese Elites Scientific Tour Was Held in the Pardis Technology Park of the Vice Presidency for Science Affairs
Officials of universities of Syria and Elites and Intellectuals of Lebanon visited the Pardis technology park of the vice presidency for science affairs in the form of technology and scientific tour.
According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, in the vein of scientific tours and activities considered by the vice presidency for science affairs by efforts of the knowledge-based science, technology and economy culture development headquarter and cooperation of the Pardis technology park for introducing capabilities and potentials of the country’s science and technology and including achievements of knowledge-based companies present at this park, officials of the Syrian universities and scientific elites of Lebanon became familiar with these achievements during a visit.
According to Hamed Niavand, official of the international unit of the Pardis technology park of the vice presidency for science affairs, 250 companies are members of the Pardis technology park which caused the financial flow of 1 million dollars in the year. Moreover in previous years some exports have been made to middle east countries, Europe and even America.
He stated that other supports of Iranian knowledge-based companies is this notion that: For supporting knowledge-based companies to attend International and foreign fairs like Arab Lab, gitex, a specified section in the form of pavilion is allocated to Iranian knowledge-based companies.
Then, questions of the Lebanese visitors were answered.
Then, the visiting delegation from Syria and Lebanon visited the fair of achievements of knowledge-based companies of Pardis technology park and some knowledge-based companies settled in this park.
Sheikh Reza, the official of the Lebanese visiting delegation said: This visiting delegation consists of different scientific guilds of Lebanon that have come to Iran for meeting and earning experience.
He stated: We became familiar with the Pardis technology park of the vice presidency for science affairs well in this visit. We were surprised. The thing that was new to us was this notion that in Iran you want to export knowledge rather than crude materials.
Sheikh Reza added: It is interesting that you are thinking about importing knowledge not products and we are proud of this as a Muslim country.
Mahmoud Abumorad, ex professor of Lebanon University said in this visit: Iran is the winner in the field of producing anti-cancer medicines.
Based on this report, these scientific tours are held by the knowledge-based science, technology and economy culture development headquarter of the vice presidency for science affairs and cooperation of Pardis technology park of the vice presidency for science affairs and technology center of Sharif University toward introducing achievements and discoveries of students, technologists and activists of knowledge-based companies.
