According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Amir Ali Hamidieh, secretary of stem cells technologies development headquarter, pointed out the national document of stem cells sciences and technologies approved by the higher council of cultural revolution and talked about the four major areas of education, research and development of human resources and enhancement of stem cell service providing centers on the second meeting of the provincial council of stem cells and regenerative medicine of Kermanshah, stating: given the presence of an expert and skilled human resource in the area of stem cells, significant enhancements can be obtained in Kermanshah to produce science and technology and have relevant productions in this area with the counseling and investment of the private sector.

He talked about the fact that the expectations of people from science and research sections of the country are not limited to article production. In this regard, he added: providing new clinical services, creating occupations and income are the main demands of people from this field. He also pointed out that despite the financial problems of the country, proper measures have been taken in this area. He continued: however, the private sector must be more involved in this area, compared to the government section of the country.

Secretary of the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter mentioned the significant development of Iran in the area of stem cells in the past decade, affirming: entrance of stem cells and regenerative medicine and support of activities of this section must be prioritized.

He continued: the investments made in this area have been mainly in research and technology projects performed by the ministry of health, ministry of science, Jihad University and Islamic Azad University. Another section is carried out by the Vice-Presidency, which is facilitating the development of knowledge-based companies.

The second meeting of provincial council of stem cells and regenerative medicine of Kermanshah was held in the presence of the secretary of stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter, president of Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, and a number of faculty members and authorities of the province.
