The Iranian national science foundation has developed a program in order to provide the list of research projects performed by researchers based on the needs and demands of applicant organizations and units.  

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, disciplines related to human resources have significantly expanded, compared to two decades ago. Fortunately, a great potential has been created for development of disciplines in the field of human resources in the country, in a way that its development process has led to specialization of most of the disciplines in this field. In the Iranian national science foundation, evaluation of research projects are carried out based on prioritized fields and using the emphases of higher-level documents.

However, a program has been created to realize this goal, among the properties of which is supply and demand. In this regard, research projects are performed by researchers and will be provided based on the needs and demands of the applicant organizations and units.

The Iranian national science foundation has numerous working groups in the country to support the implementation of research projects, each working in a specific field of science and technology. The working group of human resources in one of the 16 working groups that evaluates the works sent by researchers by holding meetings. In case of confirmation of the project in the specialized committee, the project will be practically implemented.

On its last meeting, this working group evaluated the project received from researchers, from which six were confirmed by the members of the working group. In addition, the working group of human resources (scientific and technological studies) encompasses pioneering professors and faculty members of universities and research centers, each having a responsibility toward assessing research projects developed based on relevant ideas.
