Along with promotional seminars in provinces involved in the project of pioneering centers of student biotechnology, the student biotechnology promotional seminar was held in Yazd.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Azizkhani, representative of biotechnology development headquarter, explained about the formation of foundation and support of domestic products, stating: since 2014, special attention has been paid to biotechnology in schools, which is indicative of a promising future.

During the ceremony, Narges Ebdali, manager of the student biotechnology pioneering centers, provided explanations on the association between science and technology, expressing: the 21^st century is the century of biotechnology even though this science dates back to before fermentation of bread or discovery of alcohol by Zakaria Razi.

She also talked about various areas of biotechnology and described the education, implementation and evaluation stages of this project in the selected schools.
