According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the technology park of Sistan and Baluchestan held a workshop on March 8^th 2018 on familiarization with intellectual property rights with an emphasis on patent registration with the cooperation of the regional technomart and elites foundation of this province.

The main topics presented in this workshop include familiarization with the concept of intellectual property, including intellectual property examples, definition and types of patent, position of patent registration system, patent components, including various sections of a patent, applications, types and structure of patents, patent qualification conditions (e.g., conditions of patent registration), evaluation of conditions of patent registration and applicable examples.

Inventors, members of technomart, knowledge-based companies, technology units based in technology park of Sistan and Baluchestan can participate in the workshop free of charge. However, acquiring the license for attending the workshop depends on paying the relevant cost until 15 days after the workshop.

The workshop on familiarization with intellectual property rights with an emphasis on patent registration was held March 8^th 2018 at 16:00-18:00 in technology park of Sistan and Baluchestan province with the address of 4^th Daneshjoo Street by the efforts of the technology park of Sistan and Baluchestan Province and cooperation of regional technomart.

The national technomart of Iran is initiated based on the documents presented in the scientific macro plan of the country and order of the higher council of cultural revolution and the Vice-Presidency to create and organize regional and specialized technomart in Iran. To date, 16 technomarts have been established in Isfahan, Alborz, East Azerbaijan, Razavi Khorasan, Khuzestan, Semnan, Fars, Qazvin, Qom, Kerman, Kermanshah, Lorestan, Markazi, Hormozgan, Hamadan and Yazd. The 17^th regional technomart has been established in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, which is responsible for the development of technology market in this geographic region.
