According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, along with his provincial travels, Sorena Sattari, vice president for science and technology affairs, traveled to Sistan and Baluchestan Province and learned about the capacities and needs of the province.

During this one-day travel, a meeting will be held with the planning and development committee of the province in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs, governor and other authorities of this province.

One of the other programs of this travel is visit of technology park of Sistan and Baluchestan province by the vice president for science and technology affairs with the aim of support of knowledge-based companies development, new ideas and emphasis on commercialization of the established research results and their activities in the new energy field (with an emphasis on wind, sun and sea waves), mines and non-metallic mineral products, agriculture (with an emphasis on medical herbs, tropical products, banana and dates and salt-resistant products), as well as fisheries and aquaculture.

Conducting meetings with academics and some of the knowledge-based companies is another plan of travel of the vice president for science and technology affairs to Sistan and Baluchestan Province, so that the vice president is able to recognize the current problems of this region in this regard.

In this travel, the vice president for science and technology affairs is accompanied by Ali Osat Hashemi, governor of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Alireza Daliri, deputy of management development and capital raising, Parviz Karami, advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs and secretary of knowledge-based technology and industries development headquarter, Hossein Ali Bahrami, secretary of water, soil, erosion and environment development headquarter and a number of authorities and officials of Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
