More than 90 scientific and industrial articles are presented on the 18^th “national conference of surface engineering” and the fourth “specialized conference of material processing with laser”.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, “the 18^th national conference of surface engineering” and “the fourth specialized conference of material processing with laser” were held in Isfahan with a specialized emphasis on localization of repair, reconstruction and manufacturing of industrial parts with surface engineering technologies. The most important topics of the conference include repair and reconstruction of spare pieces in military, aerospace, oil, gas, petrochemical and cement, surface modification and coatings, incremental build and 3D printers, role of surface technology in reduction of environmental pollutants and reports and technical ideas of experts of the industry.

This event was held in the commerce office of Isfahan province in the presence of more than 150 students, professors, researchers and industrialists of the surface engineering area with the support of advanced manufacturing and materials development headquarter. This event included presenting more than 90 scientific and industrial articles, presenting speech by nine key lecturers, visiting industrial achievements, specialized educational workshop for incremental build, holding five idea rooms for industry and university and the Idea Show event. Holding this event and showcasing the latest achievements of the world in this area will lead to more familiarization with this science and increase of knowledge of experts through interacting with activists of this field.
