The course of industrial inspections in the maritime industry was held in the Noshirvani University of Industry of Babol this January to be more familiarized with industry employees and students with the cooperation of marine knowledge-based industries and technologies development headquarter.

Given the fact that all of the fleets under the classification institute must adhere to the IMO regulations and have all of the standards of their specific class in order to obtain the license provided in the class, all of the applied materials and equipment in these fleets must be approved by the class and have the minimum standards.

Therefore, attendees of this course learned about concepts, such as definition of ranking institutes by the inspector, industrial inspector, process of inspections, different types of achievable licenses and how to conduct audits to confirm the workshops of repair and construction and active companies of this field. At the end, some inspected examples were presented as case study (crane inspection and lifting equipment, inspection from fiberglass vessel construction workshops).

At the end of the seminar, all participants expressed their questions about industrial inspections and discussed this issue. Moreover, attendees expressed their satisfaction with holding this program and requested the holding of similar programs by the relevant institute and planning headquarter and Noshirvani University of Industry of Babol.
