The launching ceremony of the Corporate Venture Investment Fund of Iron Ore and Related Industries was held in the presence of Ruhollah Dehghani, Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Mehran Fatemi, Governor of Yazd, and Mojtaba Hamidian, CEO of Marzai Iron and Steel Company of Iran, at Derakhshan Innovation Factory in Yazd.

In this ceremony, the vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, emphasizing the promotion of the content of the technology and innovation ecosystem to increase the influence and role of knowledge-based economy in the context of society's life, said: a serious priority in this period of the activity in the vice presidency of science, technology and knowledge-based economy means that the role of knowledge-based economy in the lives of people and society becomes prominent and serious. Many concepts such as innovation centers, accelerators, growth centers, innovation factories and other such concepts have been well developed and now the time has come that according to the content and text of the knowledge-based economy, the people of the society will experience the real taste of this economy in their lives. to taste People, pay attention to such issues very intelligently and accurately, and they can measure the impact of the knowledge-based economy in their lives. If they feel this effect, they will not give up any efforts in the way of its promotion and development.

The head of the National Elites Foundation emphasized the need to involve the people in the promotion of the knowledge-based economy and added: "If we want to be successful in this field, we must bring the people to the work of the knowledge-based economy." The history of the Islamic Republic has clearly shown that no success has been achieved without the participation and role-playing of the people. If the people come to work with their own motivation and desire, that activity will achieve the necessary success, and on the other hand, wherever the people do not support that movement and action, no matter how much the government budget is injected, that work will not achieve the desired result.

The vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy continued: more than 10,000 knowledge-based companies, 400 research and technology funds, more than 78 science and technology parks and hundreds of accelerators and innovation centers are part of the infrastructure of the technology and innovation ecosystem, but The share of the knowledge-based economy in the GDP has not yet reached its desired level; The time has come to pay more serious attention to the content of the ecosystem of technology and innovation so that the role of this economy in the progress and prosperity of the country becomes more prominent.

Emphasizing that the concentration of innovation and technology infrastructures in the capital should not lead to neglecting the capacities and talents of other provinces, Dehghani said: the major wealth and capabilities of the country can be discovered and observed in the provinces and cities in every corner of the country.

He added: On this basis and with the aim of improving the capabilities of other provinces in the knowledge-based economy, the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy has designed, defined and approved a program that focuses on improving the knowledge-based standards of each province, according to its capacities and talents.

The Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy, stating that the provincial cut-off plan for knowledge-based economy, defines the outlook and future horizon and the share of provinces in the knowledge-based economy and gross domestic product, said: This national plan provides a vision for the province draws a picture of the knowledge-based economy of that province over a period of 3 years.

For example, the number of knowledge-based companies in the province, the employment created, the amount of investment, the creation of added value, and the share that each province plays in the gross domestic product of the knowledge-based economy are clearly specified in this program.

Dehghani continued: In the first phase of this program, 5 provinces have been considered as executive pilots, and Yazd province is the pioneer of the implementation of this national program.

The opportunities of Yazd province are clear and an agreement is concluded with the participation of the governorate and the assembly of representatives of the province, which is the provincial cut of the knowledge-based economy and defines the image of the knowledge-based economy of the province.

Ten real measurable and demonstrable indicators have been predicted in this provincial section, which will determine the progress of the knowledge-based economy in that particular province.

He added: With the financial resources at his disposal, which fortunately have increased this year, along with the facilitation capabilities, there is no limit to supporting the development of the knowledge-based economy and promoting the criteria mentioned in the provincial cut of the knowledge-based economy. Each province can allocate a share of these resources according to its share of progress in these criteria and the realization of the goals set in the program. Each province can attract at least one CM of these financial resources, and this will depend on the effort and progress in realizing the indicators of the provincial cut plan. These resources will be allocated in a precise and specific manner, in accordance with the progress of the province based on the provincial division, and there is no limit in allocating these resources to the provinces.

According to the vice president of science, technology and knowledge-based economy, in this new approach, moving in the direction of knowledge-based economy in provinces that have paid less attention to the issue of knowledge-based economy is one of the main concerns, and in provinces that pay more attention to this economy, it is a very special opportunity. And it will become the main opportunity for progress.

With this high determination and effort, this province can definitely be considered one of the pioneers of the development of knowledge-based economy.

Conclusion of 5 contracts and investment memorandums

During this ceremony, 3 investment contracts were signed in the chain of mining and iron ore industries to pave the way for the entry of technologies into this field.

The first contract was dedicated to the development of the production of machinery in the mining area, which was signed between the venture capital fund of the central iron and steel company and related industries and Pedra Madan Iranian with an investment volume of 700 billion rials.

The second cooperation agreement, focusing on the development of mining ideas until reaching a semi-industrial model, was concluded between the Central Iron and Related Industries Venture Capital Fund and Daya Pardis Kian Tose'e Company with an investment volume of 200 billion Rials.

The third cooperation agreement was signed between Central Iron Ore and Related Industries Venture Investment Fund and Andisheh Madar Knowledge Based Company, with the issue of producing cranes with a tonnage of over 50 tons, with an investment value of 800 billion Rials.

In addition, two memorandums of cooperation with the aim of localizing technology and an investment memorandum for the first time production, between the venture investment fund of Central Iron and Related Industries and Kara Fanavaran Sharif Company, with the aim of commercializing technologies developed in the field of radar with a focus on applications Minerals such as altimeter sensors for reservoirs, worth 1,500 billion Rials, were contracted.

The second memorandum of understanding was signed with the focus on the development of new exploration technologies based on advanced algorithms with a focus on the exploration of blind mines, by the venture capital fund of Central Iron and Related Industries and Isatis Mine Exploration Company worth 600 billion Rials.
