According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first symposium on “stem cells and regenerative medicine of Gilan Province” will be held with the support of the stem cells sciences and technologies development headquarter and by Council of Science and Technology of Rehabilitation Stem and Medical Stem cells in Gilan Province and Vice-Chancellor for Research, Technology of Gilan University of Medical Sciences and Vice-President of Research and Technology of Gilan University.

The first symposium on “stem cells and regenerative medicine of Gilan Province” will be held with the approach of treating incurable diseases in all parts of the country and entering cell therapy in various parts.

According to this report, cell therapy and tissue engineering, cell therapy and evaluation of opportunities and challenges, cell therapy in terms of incurable diseases, cell therapy and evaluation of regulations, and cell therapy and gene therapy, biomaterial and compatible bioassay in medical rehabilitation, as well as regenerative medicine and health tourism are among the most important topics of the symposium.

It should be noted that the symposium will be held December 4^th-5^th, 2018 in the conference hall of Shahid Beheshti Nursing and Midwifery School of Rasht.
