According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the biotechnology development headquarter has aimed to integrate the research priorities of universities and research centers with the goal of coordination and increase of productivity of capacities and activities in the biotechnology field across the nation.

According to the current documents, the biotechnology development headquarter is responsible for supporting, guiding and coordinating active centers and institutes related to biotechnology. Therefore, the headquarter has aimed to produce a glossary on the technological and scientific capacities of biotechnology field in the country with the intellectual potential of all. By doing so, we can properly manage and follow up the central missions in each scientific unit, provide the opportunity for knowledge proficiency and improvement of prioritized fields.

Integration of bioresearch priorities of research centers and universities will be executed with the goal of preventing the repetition of research on single topics and recognizing important topics.
