An event for commercialization of nanotechnologies
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the nanotechnology commercialization program (Nano Match) is a permanent program to support nanotechnology projects. Technologists, new companies, research centers and academic societies are the supply side and industrial companies and venture capital are the demand side, all of whom are among the audience of the program.
In this regard, technologists can register on Nano Match system for the second call of the sixth round of nanotechnology commercialization programs until March 6th 2018, so that their technological projects could be evaluated. In this program, projects which have a primary sample and are based on the need of the industry will be accepted. In addition, the selected works must have no domestic counterpart or must have a higher quality and lower costs, compared to its domestic counterpart. Another important indicator of accepting the projects is adhering to nano definitions.
Various requests will be evaluated based on different indicators, such as ability to be commercialized, technical abilities, nano scale, ability to develop the market, innovation and potential of technology group to make enhancement in the project. However, the accepted projects have the opportunity to use the available equipment, services and tools during the time determined for their project based on its level.
In addition, these projects will use the services and support provided by Nano Match to develop their business. After the product development process, it is possible to use other services and equipment of nanotechnology development headquarter to develop the market.
Some of the projects commercialized in this program include shrinkage reducing nano-compound, the distortion and weight of polymer products, monitoring and diagnosis of cancer, hydrophobic sound insulation, the system for extracting protein from whey, anti-radiation textiles, and radiation heater.
The sixth round of the nanotechnology commercialization program, known as Nano Match, will be held to support industrial projects to be commercialized. Technologies can send their projects by uploading it on the system until March 6th 2018.
