With the support of the patent association of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, 82 Iranian patents are registered in foreign patent registration offices.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, support of patent registration in valid foreign offices is one of the measures taken by the patent association of the Vice-Presidency in line with production of wealth from intellectual property and formation of a patent market to earn an income.

To realize this goal, the association provides services such as patent registration in valid patent registration systems of the world such as USPTO and EPO and 90% support of total costs of registration in valid patent registration offices.

To date, Iranian inventors have been able to internationally register 82 products by receiving this support.

According to the report, 1688 requests have been registered on the association’s website, 274 of which have been approved after evaluation.

In addition, promotion and dissemination of concepts and topics related to intellectual property rights to inform the public, empowering intellectual property experts in universities and higher education centers, holding seminars and educational workshops on intellectual properties of universities and knowledge-based companies, and creating a database of patented and valid technologies and invention are other goals of the foundation.
