In the meeting of the vice president for science, technology and knowledge-based economy with the special assistant of the Russian president in science and technology policy, while examining the fields of expanding scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries, the creation of the capacity was emphasized to implement joint projects by large Iranian and Russian technology companies.
According to the communication and information center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge Economy, Ruhollah Dehghani, the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge Economy, who has been traveling to Moscow since yesterday Tuesday to expand joint scientific and technological cooperation between Iran and Russia. He met and talked with Andrey Fursenko, the special assistant of the Russian president for science and technology policy.
This meeting took place following the negotiations that took place at the end of May during Forsenko's visit to Tehran. During the visit of the Special Assistant of the Russian President for Science and Technology Policy to Iran, which took place to visit the Innotex exhibition in Pardis Technology Park, it was agreed to revive the Iran-Russia High Technology Committee and set new agendas for the committee.
The development of joint cooperation in the field of medicine and medical equipment, energy, transportation, especially civil aviation transportation, advanced materials and microelectronics were among other agreements reached during that trip.
Also, following that trip, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the National Science Foundation of Iran and the National Science Foundation of Russia, after which, with the announcement of a joint call, 100 proposals were received for the implementation of joint scientific and technological projects, of which 20 projects are supposed to be supported be jointly implemented by the national science foundations of the two countries.
Expanding communication and joint cooperation between universities and the best science and technology parks of Iran and Russia and creating capacity for the cooperation of large technology companies of the two countries to implement joint projects were among the other agreements reached in this meeting, which is supposed to be in the visits and meetings of Dehghani and the accompanying delegation from the scientific and industrial centers of Russia will discuss and exchange opinions on the details of these cooperations.
