Dehghani: the support of the Vice Presidency of Science for the prestigious technological projects in the universities
The ceremony of starting the technology development credit allocation process was held for faculty members in Sharif University of Technology.
According to the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, Ruhollah Dehghani, the Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, in this ceremony, while congratulating the Research Week to the scientific people of the country, including Sharif University of Technology, said: The event is a culture-creating, flow-forming and pattern-oriented program by Sharif University of Technology, which paves the way for such approaches and initiatives by other universities.
He stated that the Hatef program (Technology Development Credit Guidance) has been implemented in a comprehensive and purposeful way and continued: structuring, creating systems and planning and operational work has been conducted beyond expectations by the people involved in this program and doing such fundamental work and it deserves praise and thanks.
The head of the National Elites Foundation said: Since the law on supporting knowledge-based companies was approved in 2010, a flow of support for knowledge-based and technological companies was formed, and the Vice Presidency of Science assumed the role of supporting and regulating companies, the prosperity and innovation fund, with a capital of three billion dollars, advanced the work of financial support for knowledge-based companies. In that period, technological spaces did not exist in a very extensive form today. In the following, the flow of supporting the technology ecosystem and innovation, the creation and development of elements was done well, so that in 2015 and 2016, the flow of startup businesses and technology companies based on virtual space found their place in the field of entrepreneurship.
Referring to the support of the Vice Presidency of Science for the development of technology in the form of the Hatef project, Dehghani said: up to 50 billion Tomans have been allocated to this project, and it will be implemented for the first time in Sharif University of Technology, because I believe that if this project is successfully implemented, it will become a model. It will become successful for other universities.
