Yadegar Imam and Shahid Sattari stations were inaugurated from Tehran and suburbs metro line 6 in the presence of Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, Head of the Program and Budget Organization, and Pirooz Hanachi, Mayor of Tehran.

These stations have been set up at a cost of over 500 billion tomans to join the new 7 km of urban transport fleet to provide quality in this area.

With the opening of the mentioned stations, the capacity of public transportation in the western part of Tehran increased. With the launch of these two stations, the number of metro stations in Tehran reached 134 stations.

Sorena Sattari, Vice President for Science and Technology, at the inauguration of Tehran Municipality Line 6 Station, referring to the role of knowledge-based companies in public transportation, said: "Knowledge-based companies were able to provide a significant part of the equipment needed for public transportation, especially in the metro area." So that now 85% of the train engine propulsion system is designed in-house.

Referring to the support of the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology for equipping and developing the smart urban fleet, Sattari said: "There is a capacity in knowledge-based companies to promote urban transportation towards smartening." They have already made significant progress in the field of electric motors and transportation services.

The Vice President of Science and Technology considered the provision of quality and cheap services as one of the characteristics of knowledge-based and creative companies and said: "This culture should be current in the country that the provision of transportation services is achieved by creative and technological people in the private sector." And in this way, the government must build the necessary structures to facilitate knowledge-based and creative businesses.
