Reza Asadifard, the manager of the strategic technologies laboratories network, considered the qualitative and quantitative increase of lab services as the most important goal in the network. In this regard, he mentioned: the laboratory network monitors the needs of laboratory centers to increase the quantity and quality of these services and uses various strategies to respond to these needs.

According to Asadifard, labs are supported to improve and expand their services. For instance, “training lab experts”, “cooperating and sharing knowledge and experience of experts of the center in the form of specialized working groups”, and “supporting the maintenance, calibration, repair and improvement of equipment” are among the solutions considered to achieve this goal.

He continued: we strongly support the establishment of laboratory standards since we believe that we cannot expect the quality of laboratory services to improve until this happens.

As mentioned by the manager of the strategic technologies lab network, facilitating the access of laboratory centers to standard reference and calibration samples", “supporting the development and deployment of laboratory process management software” and “supporting the completion of the capabilities of member centers” are other supports of this network.
