Given the fact that the recognition and diagnosis of corona in patients is the most important part of treatment, the biotechnology development headquarter issued a call to support the producers of rapid serological diagnostic kits for coronavirus.

Knowledge-based companies and the innovation and technology ecosystem proved during the crisis of corona that they have a great ability to eliminate problems and meet the country’s needs. One of these capabilities is producing rapid corona diagnosis kits carried out by Iranian researchers. Given the support of many companies with this special power, the Vice-Presidency has aimed to support their products after recognizing and assessing their production power.

The support of companies with a history of producing similar kits, which have been able to successfully present their products to the market and adhere to ISO 13485-9001 standards and have all equipment required in their production process will be prioritized.

In addition, gaining technical knowledge of Rapid Test Kit Production (LFD) in the infrastructure of accelerators introduced by the Biotechnology Development Headquarters, ability to produce 500,000 kits per month", timely supply of raw materials for the production of kits such as paper, antibodies, antigens, and kits with a dedicated antibody, the Covid-19 virus are conditions that must be confirmed in studies.
