Since students are the future leaders of science in the country, empowering them in science and technology has become one of the concerns of eco-tech activists and innovators. In this regard, the biotechnology development headquarter has been active in the field of students for many years and will hold the national competition of biological ideas with an emphasis on school students. 

Biotechnology is one of the world"s high-capacity growth and development platforms. This field of specialization in Iran has also been growing over the last few years. According to its mission to promote biotechnology in the country, the biotechnology development headquarter has targeted students.

In this respect, together with the ministry of education, the biotechnology development headquarter has aimed to organize the first and largest national competition for the creation of biotech ideas among students to educate the generation of bio-capable people in the country. The audience of this national competition is all first and second-grade students across the country, who can register for the event until February 19^th, 2020.

Notably, the competition will be held in the academic year of 2019-2020 in three stages of “virtual scientific exam”, “competition of biotechnological ideas” and “summer camp of commercialization of top ideas”.

Standard academic content tailored to the student"s degree is available to students to familiarize them with the basics, techniques and functions of biotechnology in a variety of biotechnology areas including medical biotechnology, agriculture, food and medicine, and the environment.
