According to the communication and information center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy, Hossein Afshin, on Saturday evening, in a meeting with the elites, winners of science Olympiads, presidents and professors of Gilan universities in Rasht, stated that support packages for the elites should be provided with the help and collaborate of the elites. They are better acquainted with the issues and problems of their field, so they will play an effective role in preparing these packages.

He stated that the call for the projects of the elites will be presented to prepare a support package for them, and added: The elites should have a special position and respect for the elites and their support plays an important role in the influence of these powerful figures in the society.

The Vice President of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy emphasized that elites should be supported based on meritocracy and added: the effort is for some of the elites to be entrepreneurs and some to start knowledge-based companies to actualize their capacities and never worry about employment.

Stating that the elite should seek entrepreneurship for others, he stated: At the same time, the executive bodies also need the elite society, in this regard, their capacities and talents can be used to better advance affairs and move towards improvement.

The head of the National Elites Foundation said about the support programs of the Elites Foundation: There is no difference between private and public universities, etc. The National Elites Foundation supports the programs of universities, regardless of whether they are public or private, any university that helps in the network of the elite pyramid will be supported.

Referring to the capacities and talents of elites in Gilan and stating that this province contributes to science, knowledge and elitism in the country, he added: The elite and intelligent forces working in Gilan are a good capacity for the province.
