According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, following the outbreak of the coronavirus, knowledge-based and technology companies that are members of the ecosystem were among the first pioneers to launch their technology products to fight the disease.

Recently, a national exhibition was held with the support of the Vice-Presidency and several companies presented their products. Producing a Corona Diagnosis Kit and continuing efforts to improve treatment methods in this area are just some of the successful initiatives taken by the country's innovative activists. In addition to supporting active companies in the field, the Vice-Presidency has supported important and vital centers in the ecosystem, such as accelerators, as well as growth and innovation centers, to ensure their success in passing corona-associated barriers.

Mahdi Azimian, the head of the innovation acceleration center, emphasized the effectiveness of corona disease on startup ecosystem, adding: support programs have been designed in this area with follow-ups of the Vice-Presidency and cooperation of Iran national science foundation. Accordingly, 41 innovation accelerators have received facilities and 20 accelerators will soon benefit from these facilities.

The head of the innovation acceleration center also marked: in addition, nine joint workspaces have been introduced to receive facilities. In addition, dozens of entrepreneurship events have been held virtually with the help of the Innovation Acceleration Center of the Vice-Presidency, and various teams of the country's innovation accelerators have been able to provide significant services to the community.
