The Iran national science foundation supports joint technological projects between Iranian and Chinese and Russian researchers in line with the development of its international interactions.

Support is provided in the form of call publication. The international cooperation of the fund is carried out to use the maximum capacity of foreigners so that the proper foundation is laid for international research cooperation in the scientific society.

Supporting joint projects of Iranian researchers and the China Science Academy has been a measure taken in this field, for which five projects will be finalized and supported. These influential projects are scientific and technological priorities.

In addition, supporting joint projects of Iran and Russia is another program of the fund to develop international interactions. In this context, joint projects of the researchers of the two countries will be supported to accelerate the scientific and technological cooperation of the two countries. In December, two calls were made to support joint research projects of Iran and Russia, for which researchers can send their proposals until May 25^th, 2020.

Mathematics, physics and astronomy, chemistry and advanced materials, biology, bioinformatics and cognitive sciences, earth sciences (focusing on Antarctic and Caspian lake studies), history, archeology, ethnology and anthropology, economics, linguistics and cultural studies, information technology computer systems and artificial intelligence, mechanics and aerospace Advanced oil and gas studies are the scientific fields in this call.

However, the fund has designed other support programs to expand cooperation with other countries, including cooperation with German Research Foundation (DFG) and Japan Science Promotion Association (JSPS).

According to an agreement signed between the fund and DFG, Iranian researchers who have a scientific relationship with German researchers can, with their cooperation, define a joint research project and, if approved and approved by the project in the Fund"s working groups. This call does not have a specific time frame, and both organizations (the German Science Foundation) are ready to receive proposals for a joint project and workshop from Iranian and German researchers throughout the year.

In addition, membership of the fund in the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis and the World Research Council creates further opportunities to develop interactions with other countries.
