This ecosystem, which encompasses a wide range of sciences, can make a significant contribution to the country"s mutation in production and the economy.

Meanwhile, several custodians have been determined for the development of the ecosystem; players who work together to realize the goals of the document. The biotechnology development headquarter is one of these plays at the front of the efforts made in this area. Pointing out this issue, Mostafa Ghanei, the secretary of the biotechnology development headquarter stated: if we compare Iran"s ranking in the field of biotechnology with the vision document, we will find that the field of biotechnology is far ahead of the vision document and we have no competitors in the region.

According to Ghanei, Iran ranks 16th in the world in terms of production of scientific articles, which ranks 13th in the field of biological articles. That means that we are four ranks higher than other scientific fields.

“This honor could not be achieved without the efforts of Iranian elites and expert. This phenomenon has reinforced Iran among large companies in the field of biotechnology in the world. In these difficult global conditions, Iranian manufactured drugs are exported to other countries, and the name of Iran is considered as one of the world"s drug manufacturers.

Ghanei also marked: efforts are made to reach the global peak in this area and prove the abilities and capacities of our youth to the world.
