During the trip of the vice president for science and technology affairs to Mahshahr, the second phase of Takhte Jamshid Petrochemical Co. with was opened with the capacity of producing different petrochemical products.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mahshahr is one of the old ports of Khalij Fars, which hosted Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs to develop its technology and innovation ecosystem.
Opening the Second Phase of Takhte Jamshid Petrochemical Co.
During this one-day trip, Sattari opened the second phase of Takhte Jamshid Petrochemical Co. By opening the second phase of the petrochemical organization, four new petrochemical products will be added to the production chain in addition to increasing the capacity of product manufacturing. In the second phase, 55,000 tons of PBR, 5,000 tons of STP, 18,000 tons of HIPS and 20,000 tons of latex are added to the annual production capacity.
In addition, Sattari unveiled 10 Iranian-made catalysts. The Revamp catalyst licensed by Karun Petrochemical Co. is one of the productions of Exir Novin Co. using nickel as a replacement for valuable metals. In addition, LTSC and HTSC catalytic converters, methanation and synthesis of the produced methanol in Kharazmi Technology Development knowledge-based company will be unveiled in this center. Ammonia synthesis catalysts, dry reforming catalysts, ethylene oxide process catalysts and Ziglernata catalysts produced by HNT holding knowledge-based company will enter the industry circle with the cooperation of the petrochemical technology research company. By doing so, a significant portion of the petrochemical industry"s needs will be met by relying on internal capability.
During the event, Sattari visited the special economic zone of “Karun Petrochemical Co.” and knowledge-based companies of the organization.
In addition, Sattari visited the knowledge-based companies based in Arvand Free Zone. Visiting the growth center of technology units of Khoramshahr Marine Science and Technology University was another part of the program.
This trip was carried out in line with the provincial travels of the vice president to witness the booming of the technology and innovation ecosystem in the region. During all of these trips, Sattari has emphasized the use of all capacities of the province, especially their capable and creative human resources.
