The Dignified Scientific and Technological Delegation of Iran Visited the Most Important Advanced Technology Pole of China

Consultant of presidency vice president for science and technology affairs said: The signified scientific and technological delegation of Islamic Republic of Iran visited the scientific, researching, industrial state of Suzhou as one of the world most important advanced technology poles on the third day of their trip to People’s Republic of China.

According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, Parviz Karami- consultant of presidency vice president for science and technology affairs declared about the programs of the third day of trip of the dignified scientific and technological delegation of our country headed by the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs of Islamic Republic of Iran to People’s Republic of China: On the third day of this trip carried out at the invitation of president of Chinese Academy of Science, visiting the scientific, researching, industrial state of Suzhou was put on the agenda of Dr. Sattari and the accompanying delegation.

Secretary of the knowledge-based science, technology and economy culture development headquarter of the vice presidency for science affairs expressed on this: The scientific, researching, industrial state of Suzhou is one of the projects of technology development infrastructure and was constructed in 22 years in 279 square kilometers which was built and grown with Singaporeans’’ help. It is a reminder that a Singaporean delegation headed by the consultant of prime minister of Singapore has started the same cooperation with us.

Parviz Karami explained in the following: The Iran-China Nano center was inaugurated at the scientific, researching, industrial state of Suzhou with presence of deputy of technology exchange and international affairs of the vice presidency for science affairs of our country and Chinese officials in June 2015. Moreover,  a cooperation memorandum was signed in this ceremony between the Nano technology headquarter and the Nano polis center with the aim of developing joint cooperation in the field of Nano technology between Iran and China.

Consultant of presidency vice president for science and technology affairs stated about the process of these cooperation: These cooperation have been formed to help Iranian knowledge-based companies and science and technology parks to export Iranian knowledge-based goods and to enhance international cooperation in the field of technology and will enter a new and more active stage by the trip of the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs of our country and the dignified scientific and technological delegation to China.

He expressed about other programs of the third day of presence of the dignified scientific and technological delegation in China: Visiting the SEID innovation and education center was carried out and visiting science and technology parks of SINANO, Nano polis and Bioboy located in the scientific, researching, industrial state of Suzhou was other programs of the Iranian delegation’s third day. Moreover, Dr, Sattari and the accompanying delegation visited the important and international exhibition of CHINano today and talked about joint cooperation.

According to the secretary of the knowledge-based science, technology and economy culture development headquarter of the vice presidency for science affairs, 9 Iranian active knowledge-based companies are present at the CHINano exhibition in the field of Nano.

Parviz Karami also informed: In the margin of visiting Nano polis, a contract was signed by the Iranian knowledge-based company of “Tavana” and a Chinese company for selling 105 items of made-in-Iran laboratorial equipment with presence of Dr. Sattari- the v and the Iranian dignified scientific and technological delegation. Moreover, a memorandum was signed for bilateral cooperation and exporting Iranian Nano equipment between the Nano technology developments headquarter of vice presidency for science affairs and science and technology park of Nano polis.

Consultant of presidency vice president for science and technology affairs also stated: This memorandum was signed with the aim of creating market for Iranian knowledge-based companies and helping the export.

He also expressed about the programs of the 4th and final day of Iranian delegation in China: This delegation is going to visit some Chinese research institutes and knowledge-based companies and also the Sibet institute which is active in the field of medical and laboratorial equipment tomorrow (Thursday). This institute is located 200 kilometers from Shanghai. Med Park which is located in the Suzhou region in the field of laboratorial equipment is another center that the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs and the accompanying delegation will visit.

Based on this report, the dignified scientific and technological delegation of Islamic Republic of Iran has travelled to China since Monday, October 24th and on the first and second day of this trip, Dr, Soorena Sattari- the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs of our country visited president of Chinese Academy of Science and minister of science and technology of China. This delegation will leave Shanghai to Iran on the evening of this Thursday at the local time.

Ali Asqar Khaji- ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran in People’s Republic of China, Saeed Shabestari- president of the second office of East Asia and Oceania of ministry of foreign affairs, Ali Morteza Birang- deputy of technology exchange and international affairs of vice presidency for science affairs, Saeed Sarkar- secretary of the Nano technology development headquarter, Parviz Karami- secretary of the knowledge-based science, technology and economy culture development headquarter, Nosratollah Zargham- head of the fund of supporting researchers and technologists of the vice presidency for science affairs, Mahdi Saffari Nia- president of the Pardis Technology Park, Mashallah Akhalghi and Seyyed Ahmad Reza Alaie Tabataba’i- director-general of the technology exchange office of the vice presidency for technology exchange and international affairs accompany the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs in this trip.
