Localization of a sanctioned product; "Made in Iran" gate valves were produced for the oil transmission line

During the unveiling ceremony of the crude oil transmission line in Arak, the Vice President of Science and Technology said: "The production of sanctioned products is one of the important goals in the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology."

This morning, the domestic production line of "Iran-made" gate valves, which is used in the transmission line of Goreh to Jask crude oil, was unveiled in the presence of Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology. The production line has been created with the participation of two large and old machine-building companies and Godakhtar Arak Company.


The crude oil transfer project from the Goreh area to the port of Jask, with a length of approximately 1,100 km, is one of the most important national projects used to transport 2 million barrels of crude oil per day.


The head of the culture and knowledge-based economy and soft and creative industries headquarters in this ceremony, noting that during today's trip, most of our time was spent visiting the achievements of knowledge-based companies, said: Markazi province is one of the provinces active in technology and innovation ecosystem.


The Vice President of Science and Technology continued: "For example, for the production of valves used in the oil industry, a good cooperation has been formed between one of the old companies called Arak Machinery and a private company called Godakhtar." That led to the creation of a sanctioned product.


The head of the National Elite Foundation also said: "It is very important to support knowledge-based companies during sanctions." The government and the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology are also trying to support the localization of products, make it easier to tolerate sanctions and create a new ecosystem in the country's industry.


Pointing out that it is necessary to support talented youth and students in the country, the Vice President of Science and Technology stated: "We must try to produce sanctioned products and inject them into various industries with the help of this manpower."
