International migration decreased and virtual migration flourished

less immigrants choose the United States as their destination. Immigration to this country may have been attractive in the past, but recently it has reduced

Statistics show that while the United States was the most important work destination in 2014 and 2018, Canada replaced it in 2020; Among the countries, Japan is the sixth country. In 2018, Japan was the tenth largest labor force choice.

The report generally shows a decline in the tendency to migrate to work, and people's attitudes toward work have changed. Corona outbreaks may be one reason, but not all causes can be attributed to this. Many social unrests are one reason for this.

An important point in between is the boom in virtual migration. A new type of immigration has just opened up these days. In this type of migration, people work remotely for employment in another country. This type of migration is welcomed and growing highly.

Reports indicate that the percentage of people willing to work remotely for a foreign employer in another country in Mexico is 84%, followed by Brazil. Zambia, Benin, Ivory Coast, Congo, Philippines, and Nigeria are in the next position. The propensity to work remotely is 56 percent in France, 55 percent in Austria, 47 percent in Germany, and 43 percent in China.

Iran can also create a lot of capacity in this field with solutions such as the development of knowledge-based and creative companies. Of course, these measures are being taken, and by creating capacity in startups, many elites have returned from abroad and are working in technology businesses, and this action can be expanded virtually.
