Expansion of collaborations; 40 research projects are supported by Iranian and Russian researchers

The results of the judging of the second joint call of the Fund for Support of Researchers and Technologists of the Vice Presidency of Science and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research were announced.

Based on this call, 40 joint research projects of Iranian and Russian researchers will be supported. Following the publication of this call, which was welcomed by researchers from both countries; They submitted 380 proposals. After judging and final evaluation, research projects for support were identified.

The second call for support for joint research projects between Iranian and Russian researchers was published with the aim of developing scientific and technological activities between researchers from the two countries.

The scientific evaluation process of these projects in Iran was carried out with the cooperation of 308 Iranian faculty members who did not participate in any of the proposed projects. Finally, the best drafts of the call were selected by summarizing the opinions of the judges of the Fund for Support of Researchers and Technologists of the Vice Presidency of Science and the Russian Foundation for Fundamental Research.

Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy, Chemistry and Advanced Materials, Biology, Bioinformatics and Cognitive Sciences, Earth Sciences (focusing on Antarctic and Caspian Sea studies), History, Archeology, Ethnography and Anthropology, Economics, Linguistics and Cultural Studies, Technology Information, computer systems, and artificial intelligence, mechanics, and aerospace are the advanced oil and gas studies of the fields on which the researchers submitted their research designs.
