A joint cooperation agreement is signed between the Vice-President for science and technology affairs and Iran Insurance Company

 

A joint cooperation agreement is signed between the Vice-President for science and technology affairs and Iran Insurance Company to provide insurance services to knowledge-based companies and institutes of the laboratory network and accelerating the activities of insurance startups at the innovation center of Iran Insurance Company.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, in line with a joint cooperation agreement is signed between the Vice-President for science and technology affairs and Iran Insurance Company, which was signed by Alireza Daliri as the representative of the Vice-Presidency and Mohsen Pourkiani, the representative of Iran Insurance Company, to provide a cooperation foundation in two areas of insurance coverage for knowledge-based companies and laboratory network and creating innovation and acceleration center for insurance industry.

This agreement was signed with the cooperation of the center of affairs of knowledge-based companies and financial supply office of the Vice-Presidency and Iran Insurance Company, which includes a complete attachment of all types of insurance coverages, which will be issued for knowledge-based companies and institutes from now on. In this section, the Iran Insurance Company has considered a 50% discount for knowledge-based companies and institutes of laboratory network for insurance coverage.

The considered insurance coverages include fire insurance, liability insurance, individual insurance, and engineering insurance for breaking of machineries (electrical and mechanical machineries).

Objectives

According to this report, support and helping the issuance of 10 support programs by the government of hope and prudence for knowledge-based companies with a support package attached by the Iran Insurance company to all of the support programs, promotion of culture of insurance and increase of penetration coefficient of insurance applying the capacities and potential of evaluation working group and determining the qualification of knowledge-based companies were regarded as goals of the agreement signed in the presence of the representative of Iran Insurance Company. In addition, it was decided to establish a bilateral program in line with the support of development of knowledge-based businesses and sales network of insurance in Iran.

In addition, other goals of the agreement include improving the domestic and foreign market for knowledge-based companies and insurance of produced products and quality to create economic justification so that the quality of manufactured products by knowledge-based companies could compete with their foreign counterparts, and evaluation of the assessment process and recognition of knowledge-based companies to be supported with the cooperation of Iran Insurance Company.

In addition, it was decided to lay the groundwork for creation and activities of an accelerator and innovation center for the insurance industry for Iran Insurance Company by the Vice-Presidency so that startups could be established in this area.

Establishment of a specialized working group for correcting the insurance structure and services of the country according to new technological methods encompassing the highest-ranking managers of the both parties was another section of the agreement.
